Art Deco Residence, Ireland

Dynamic decorative changes were required to update this established family home, which was created from a converted cottage in the 1950s. The family’s extensive collection of antique art and furniture, as well as the existing solid walnut kitchen, were to be maintained and celebrated through our rework of the space.

We sought to preserve the many Art Deco features that this property showcased, combining history and character with modern conveniences. We added a skylight over the dining area and a patio door to the living room to increase the flow of natural light, and create a meaningful indoor-outdoor connection.
